- Settlers will no longer be able to own vanilla work and Sim Settlements jobs (they can still own a home plus vanilla work). To fix existing multiple assignment issues, store the vanilla object in the workshop and place it again.
Is it possible to make a mod without parenting to settlements?
While this can be done without parenting to Sim Settlements, it's a ton more work and will inflate the size of their mod. By making this an ESM, other mods can set this as a Master File and make direct use of some of the objects in Sim Settlements.
I broke the West Everett States quest, how can I fix it?
I should start this by saying I don’t hardsave as much as I should, so going back a save isn’t an option as my last save was 2h ago.
24 hours in and sanctuary CTD
So I never used the first one, but I downloaded sim settlements 2. this is my first time modding and playing fallout since around 2016. I'm really enjoying this mod, but I noticed after playing the main quest for awhile and revisiting sanctuary I'd instantly crash loading in. Same goes for red rocket.

In "Casting a Line", during the standoff and ensuing gunfight with the raiders, Jake was ducking behind a car when it exploded and now he's sitting on the ground holding his leg. Quest dialogue continues as normal (except the camera shows me looking down at him).

Disappearing buildings?
Has anyone had their houses upgrade and then suddenly disappear not just waiting to render but the residential plot completely removing itself from your settlement? It just happened to me on an upgrade from level 1 to level 2. I can put another plot down no problem just curious.
Why move residential power point to a new spot?
Moved residential power connect point to a new spot to make it much less likely it gets covered by a building model.
What is Sim City 1.0?
In version 1.0, this mod adds the start of that vision by allowing you to place down zones (ala Sim City) that will make your settlers create buildings of the appropriate type in that zone. Added option to show HUD meters only in workshop mode. This can be tricky as there is a queued delay in HUDFramework which can cause this to fail sometimes.

Can NPCs be assigned?
Certain NPCs not meant to be assignable, such as the Minuteman Radio Operator, will no longer be auto-assigned.

Why are plots set to player select only?
Many of the plots are set to player select only. This is because they are either graphic intensive, or just plain badly done and are not optimised. The mall type stuff or joined up stuff might look daft on its own, therefore requires the player to set the plots next to each other in order too look right.
Why do some of my walls and floors have a shimmer?
Some of the walls and floors have a shimmer. This is due to the items not being an exact fit.
