It's official. I have no more kids who believe in the church

The journey began 10 years ago when my oldest, RM son, left the church 2 years after his mission.

After reading a few posts on more faithful subs dealing with questions about contradicting doctrine, I'm becoming more and more convinced that the church's new plan is to simply let members believe whatever they want, if it keeps them attending

Please don't brigade anything, but after reading several posts in the faithful subs about questions concerning doctrines, what that even means, and the contradictions aplenty between past and present doctrines, it is very apparent that there is zero concensus whatsoever as to what defines doctrine, and zero concensus as to what constitutes an acceptible explantion for blatantly contradicting doctrines.

I can't wrap my head around the narrative the GA's are power-hungry evil people. My experiences with Apostles and GA's

In the spirit of providing a bit of faithful perspective to this sub, I submit the following observation from my life and career.

What did Nauvoo society in the 1840's consider to be "one of the darkest, damndest, and foulest deed on record" that a person could do?

Apologists love to argue presentism. That is we can't judge past behavior and actions by modern sensibilities.
