What is settlement Menu Manager (SMM)?
Settlement Menu Manager provides a safe, easy way to add custom categories to the settlement menu. As a user this means you can install SMM enabled mods without worrying about ending up with a broken build menu should you choose to uninstall them. Non-SMM mods will still require uninstallers.

To increase happiness, everyone in your settlement needs food, water, a bed, a job, and defense to ward off raiders. Plant plenty of food. Grab plants you find in the wasteland and plant them together in your settlement. Build a water purifier and hook it up to a general as soon as you can.

Important Note: the assumption of this page (and it's content) is that you already have the core "Sim Settlements" mod installed and enabled (either Sim Settlements or Sim Settlements Lite). If not, please do that now (or at least make sure to do it before you try to do any of the actions or follow any of the suggestions on this page.
First Steps
Sim Settlements needs for you "find" the Sim Settlements holotape called "City Manager 2078 Holotape" (in game) before you can start using Sim Settlements.
