Inside the tower, you’ll have to make a series of drops - you’ll have to sprint and jump to the scaffolding on the far side, or risk a falling death. It’s easier to do it when the lift is going back up than on the way down, so maybe ride the lift a couple of times until you’re confident you know when to jump (because falling from that height is an instant death).

This is Loretta, but you need to unceremoniously cut her down, then go down through the house and out in order to actually collect the bone.

Although the resident Peasant Hollows are relatively easy to deal with, dispatching the Hollow Slaves will prove to be tricky, and the area introduces a new, dangerous enemy: the Evangelists .

Notes

The Undead Settlement is one of the largest areas in the game. A significant portion of the area is optional and can be bypassed to access the Road of Sacrifices, including the area's boss.

Start by eliminating the group that is closest to the building, and sneak up to the first enemy from behind. Draw the other two monsters away from the bonfire, so that they won't come to close to the rest of your enemies. Only after you deal with them, take care of the remaining two creatures on your left. Just remember to sneak up to one of them and deliver a deadly blow. There is a Soul of an Unknown Traveler under the gate.
