- About the Position: AEIP Pre-arrival Settlement Practitioner delivers pre-arrival settlement services to clients (with proof of eligibility for pre-arrival services) and ensures a continuity of service from pre-arrival to post-arrival.

What is a settlement practitioner certification?
The Settlement Practitioner certification is based on a balanced assessment of an applicant’s knowledge, skills and training. Practitioners are certified as Level 2 or Level 3, recognizing respective competency levels and experience in the field.
How many settlement practitioners have been certified in Alberta?
Since the certification program began, over 140 Settlement Practitioners in Alberta and Saskatchewan have been certified. AAISA has certified 20 Settlement Practitioners as Mentors; 71 as Level 3 Settlement Practitioners and 51 as Level 2 Settlement Practitioners.
