ABUJA – THE Presidency last night confirmed that the Federal Government has gazetted lands in all the 36 states of the federation for the Ruga settlement but that the programme was optional for states to participate.

A statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu in Abuja, explained that already 12 states have indicated interest in the pilot programme, adding that it was not only for those in cattle business but in animal husbandry.
