Professor Goodfeels is a Mister Handy robot wandering around the Sunshine Tidings Co-op in 2287. Liberated by two men, Jack and Johnny, prior to the Great War. As it attempted to return to its owners, Johnny "noodled" it out and "zonked" its protocols to "just be." [1]

Background
Stolen by hippies (one of whom was Jack, who reported to Allen ), this Mister Handy originally belonged to a family in the Nadaville suburbs. Although it tried to escape its thieves, almost alerting the authorities in the process, it was shut down and reprogrammed by the hippie movement at the Sunshine Tidings Co-op.

If set to guard mode Professor Goodfeels will continually repeat the Daleks ' famous refrain "Exterminate." from the television series Doctor Who.
What happens if you perform step 7?
He becomes what's known as "disabled" in the game's script. But if you perform step 7 whenever that happens, he WILL always reappear. He does NOT return to the repair facility after you do all the crap to bring him back to the settlement. He just becomes disabled...
Is sending a guy away cheating?
As far as this being cheating, I DON'T think it is given the unclear circumstances of sending him away. Sending him away didn't really seem to reveal any significant loot, weapons, armor or otherwise, so bringing him back or interrupting that process didn't feel gamebreaking to me one way or another. He ISN'T supposed to die one way or the other if you send him for repairs, like if you were asking in case this would cause any bugs or glitches or something.

Does Professor Goodfeels disable?
