I think some of the junk walls link but your better off using wood walls for your settlement walls. Fences work for keep things out I guess but enemies can still shoot over them. I mainly use the wood walls & use the junk walls to fill in some areas.

Is there another way to do this or do you guys just wall off settlements with regular walls? Junk fences don't "link" up at all. In fact you'll be lucky to get them standing near enough each other, not leaving huge gaps. CHAIN fences on the other hand, work like walls.
