Settlement canyon has recently been stocked and the fishing is good. I was there for only a few hours and I caught 5 nice trout - 3 tiger trout and 2 rainbows ranging from 11in to 15in. No boats allowed and bank fishing works great!

There are a few small suprises swimmiing around Settlement Canyon, but for the most part this lightly fished lake only offers a healthy dose of catchable rainbows. This is a perfect lake to take the kids out, or for a quick evening getaway. Bank fishing works fine. Bait is used the most and produces lots of fish, but don't be afraid to whip out the lures or flies if the fishing gets slow.
