Getting Started

Important Note: the assumption of this page (and it's content) is that you already have the core "Sim Settlements" mod installed and enabled (either Sim Settlements or Sim Settlements Lite). If not, please do that now (or at least make sure to do it before you try to do any of the actions or follow any of the suggestions on this page.

First Steps

Sim Settlements needs for you "find" the Sim Settlements holotape called "City Manager 2078 Holotape" (in game) before you can start using Sim Settlements.

Do you need to have Sim Settlements mod 3.0?

Please note that you must have Sim Settlements core mod updated to 3.0 for Rise of the Commonwealth to function .

Do the new plot benefits stack?

No. Conqueror will provide the benefit for the highest level plot of that type to every soldier from that Outpost. So if you have a level 1 field hospital, and a level 3 field hospital, any soldiers who live in that settlement will gain the L3 30% chance to avoid death benefit.

Does conquering a settlement reset it?

If I build up a city plan with one faction and then conquer it with another, will bringing in a new mayor (presumably the old one was killed in the assault) cause the settlement to restart from scratch?
