If you’re playing on the same save that you deleted the mod on, it’s never a good idea. I believe it works that the game still thinks the mod is running as it was only able to get to that point through the use of Sim Settlements, so the absence of Sim Settles causes weird holes on what to do, thus causing this. That’s what I think happens anyways.
