There is no fee to walk around, however, you cannot go inside the buildings. We just walked around, but DID do Jamestown Settlement and it's sister museum in Yorktown (discount for doing both) and they were phenomenal! You go to the museums and then walk the grounds.

Is Colonial Williamsburg wheelchair accessible?

Many of the sites in Colonial Williamsburg are wheelchair accessible such as the Palace, Capital, Raleigh Tavern and museums. Wheelchair lifts have been installed in these buildings. Of couse, it is not feasible to provide accessibility to all 18th century buildings, so a 50% discount is available to handicapped visitors. Wheelchairs are available at the Visitors Center @$7.00 a day but they are not motorized. The shuttle buses are equipped to accomodate wheelchairs. Wheelchairs are also available at Jamestown Settlement at no charge but you have to call and reserve in advance. A Flex Pass which can be purchased in Colonial Williamsburg includes Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, Water Country, both parks at Jamestown and both parks at Yorktown and is good for 7 days. I don't know what this year's price will be but it is always less expensive than buying tickets individually and includes free parking ($8 at Busch Gardens)and you can use it at any one place as much as you want during that week. It also gives discounts on evening programming in CW. Unfortunately, no discounts apply to these passes.

Do Powhatan apartments have elevators?

Half the units there are on the second floor and they have no elevators.
