What is the second proof of residence for Union Public Schools?
A second proof of residence may be any of the following: Bank or credit card statement, cable bill, cellular or home phone bill, DHS letters, pay stub or another utility bill - in the parents' or legal guardians' name. The district will not accept driver's licenses, checks, junk mail or pieces of mail from Union Public Schools as proof of residence.

How many patrons are allowed at the CDC?
1. The Enrollment Center is open and is following CDC Guidelines with a maximum of five (5) patrons in the building. (For your familiy’s safety, we encourage you to register online .)#N#2. Only one guardian to conduct business per family. Children and guests will not be permitted.#N#3. A face mask is required at all times during the visit.
What happens at the end of registration?

When does SB783 go into effect?
The new law does not go into effect until Jan. 1, 2022. There are many requirements mandated by the law, which requires the State Department of Education to write new rules and for local school boards to create new board policies, so we are unable to respond to these requests at this time. Please check www.unionps.org for news and updates.
Do you have to be a parent to enroll in Union?
All students new to Union and former students who have withdrawn from the district must complete enrollment. Students must be residents of the Union Public School District, living with a parent or legal guardian. Any student who has moved during the school year or summer must bring verification.
Is a student's social security number required?
